Overview

Ame Rûvà Higu̹ was founded durring the late 18th century in early winter of the year 1763, by Balcheth. The establishment of Ame Rûvà Higu̹ was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ame Rûvà Higu̹'s construction back out of the project. Balcheth pushed on reguardles, and Ame Rûvà Higu̹ was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ame Rûvà Higu̹ was built using the conventions of Warrenese durring the late 18th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ame Rûvà Higu̹ is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ame Rûvà Higu̹ is is constructed arround a series of crampt cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city is defended by arcane means. It's hard to spot at first, but there's a tell tell shimmer in the air arround Ame Rûvà Higu̹, and you can spot the ocasional warding glyph carved into a rock or tree all arround town. These mystical defences are ancient, unknowable, and unassailable by current means... Assuming everything is in working order. Otherwise, the wards are little more than a deathtrap. The city's Relic of the World That Was have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.

A look around Ame Rûvà Higu̹ seems to be home to a quite vibrant and boisterous community. Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do. On second glance, that chaos continues into adulthood. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Points of Interest

Ame Rûvà Higu̹ is remarkably well-fortified for a site of its size and role. Tall, stout walls, strong points inside the community, concentric defenses, a strategic terrain location, or a large body of standing troops might be present. Some threat is thought to exist that makes maintaining this fortification worthwhile, though it may come at a dear cost to the locals. The community’s suzerain may be uncomfortable with these defenses, as they could just as easily be used to defy the ruler.
